Screen Packages include:
Weather Panel Package consists of clear 20 gauge high quality PVC panels. These panels attach similarly to our screen panels and provide outdoor comfort and protection from rain, snow, and ice.
Weather Panels include:
The Combo Package includes both insect screening and weather panels. The screen attaches to the surface of the structure while the weather panel attaches directly over top of the screen panel. The weather panel is then rolled up & down depending on the season.

(2) Measuring your Openings
SDR-Loop strips are attached to around the framing of the structure on the top, bottom and sides, creating a 4-sided perimeter of Velcro attachment. The panel then attaches to these strips creating a tight bug-free seal. These sdr-loop strips (attaches to structure) are 1" wide and outline the perimeter of the opening, so be sure you have sufficient room (at least 1.5" - 2") for these strips to attach.
- Measure the opening space from inside edge to inside edge.
- Add 2" to both the height and width of the measurement.
- Make a note of this size measurement and move on to the next window.

(3) Placing your Order
Before Placing Your Order
- Be sure you are within any size limitations for PVC panels. Porch weather panels can only be made with one dimension being 54" or less in one direction.
- Be sure you have added the 2" to the actual size openings.
- Choose an SDR-Loop colour. We offer both black & beige. SDR-Loop attaches around the perimeter of your structure (shown above).
- Choose a trim colour (Trim colours are for PVC weather panels only).
- Label your panels by letters A, B, C etc. on the estimate form. Fill in both the height & width using standard unit of measurements to 1/8 of an inch. Be sure to enter the exact measurements needed for your panels.
- Double check your order form by counting all panels, measurements, trim colurs (PVC panels only) as well as either black or beige SDR-Loop.
- Lastly, don't sweat it...RELAX:) If you're missing any details we'll be sure you are aware before processing any orders.

Where does the Velcro attach?
For best results place the surface Velcro part on the inside of the structure versus the outside. Velcro parts may be placed on the outside, however this will leave that exposed part open to higher amounts of moisture, UV rays and dust when the screen or PVC panels are not in use.
How large of a panel can you make?
For 20 x 20 screen types we have roll widths up to 96 inches by any other dimension. For PVC panels alone or, paired with a screen type one dimension must be 54 inches or less by any other dimension. Keep in mind when using PVC panels it is only practical to have a panel size that is manageable by one person's arm span, along with the wind factor.
Will the screen panels stretch and will they hold up in the wind?
The screen panels will have some stretch over the years, but due to the higher count of wires there is less bias stretch (diagonal) than traditional screening. After high wind speeds one should re-attach and snug up the screen and or PVC panels. Should one know of a windstorm coming, one may wish to remove them all together or at the very least be sure they are attached as tightly as possible.
Will the PVC panels keep out the rain and snow?
Not completely. However, the PVC weather panel when attached completely and properly will keep out generally all moisture except on the sill or bottom of the opening. This is where the water will always run to, and Velcro is only as watertight as any textile material and therefore, when the panels are attached from inside the structure, there will be cases where water and moisture will enter the opening. When the PVC panels are attached from outside, this will certainly reduce the amount of moisture that comes through. There are many factors leading to the above answer and for more details please call us to discuss the many tangibles and options.
How do the PVC panels roll up?
Manually by hand starting at the bottom and creating a cylinder like tube and rolling upward to the top of the structure. Rolling tightly is not recommended as it may cause wrinkles and difficulty unrolling. Removable straps are placed at any level one wishes to have the panel raised to.
Do I leave my insect screens attached during the winter?
No, it is not recommended. We recommend rolling them up and store them away. This will reduce the risk of ice and snow damage during the winter season.
How do I clean my PVC panels?
Only with a PVC-safe cleaning product like the supplied Klear-to-Sea. Cleaners such as Windex and other ammonia-based products will have a negative effect on the pliability, clarity and cold crack characteristics. For best results it is strongly recommended to use such products.
How do I clean the screen panels?
Cleaned with a small hand held vacuum, or simply spray them with light water pressure or an air-compression air tool.
What if I need a replacement panel?
Simply fill out the estimate form and email us.
How long is the turnaround time from placing order to delivery?
Usually 2-4 weeks depending on the size and destination of order.

- Place half the strap (below the roll) onto the face of the SDR-Loop attachment
- Stretch the remaining strap portion upwards onto the weather panels trim attachment
