Insect Screen Panels
Standard screening used by Screen Design is a vinyl-coated 20X20 fiberglass mesh made of the highest count of wires versus average window screening. The appearance seems to be darker from the outside which causes a common misconception that it's distorting the view from inside looking out. However, this is not the case. With our amazing fiberglass screening the interior views are crystal clear, while simultaneously providing more privacy from the outside looking in.

PVC Weather Panels
As a companion to your screen panels or on their own, our PVC film weather panels are designed for year-round use. This ultra-clear, flexible film is treated with UV inhibitors to ensure clarity and resistance to yellowing and fading over time. Weather panels are flame-retardant, anti-fogging. They are also cold-crack resistant up to -19F (-28 C) while still maintaining flexibility.
Only specialty type cleaners should ever be used on this plastic. Cleaning products such as Windex and other ammonia-based products will have an effect on its pliability, clarity and cold-crack characteristics. Use only NON-AMONIA based cleaners.

Velcro Attachments:
- All sewn parts are made of either polyester or nylon and will withstand high amounts of UV rays, moisture and have higher "grab" ability. However, we do encourage inside attachment of all panel types to prolong the components quality and longevity.
- A 4 ft-long, 1 inch-wide, 1/8 inch-thick, extruded plastic loop portion of the fastening system is designed for attaching to wood, brick and masonry type surfaces. Attach using high bondage adhesives such as No More Nails and staples (or pre-drilled and screwed). This material will stay permanently attached for many years without failure. The loop portion of the material is designed for 5,000 open and closes. Bond time after installation should be at least 24 hours in a temperature range of 15-30 degrees Celsius (59-86 degrees Fahrenheit) before hanging panels.
